Thank you to everyone for the good wishes for tomorrow. We have moved everything we possibly can over here, its just the last bits and bobs in the morning. The removers ar due between 8.30 and 9am, so with a following wind we should be in a reasonable state tomorrow night.

Its been a dry but cold day. We brought the caravan over after DB went for his INR. went back to collect more of the last minute stuff and are here until the new chest arrives tonight, we will just go back to sleep.

Tomorrow is going to be a very busy day, but DS2 and DD2 will be here helping us to get as straight as we can, once all DB.s books are back in the bookcase it will be a bit better, most of the floor in the sitting room will be clear. The guest room is the one that will take sorting!!

  1. Tomorrow is only a day away - hours now, actually!!! How glorious it will be to have all of your possessions under one roof again and helping hands to quickly put the books on shelves. Arranging the books in a desired order can wait, eh?!

Soon your new chest of drawers will be in its new home under the wall shelf unit in the hallway. Your pretty things can be put up and other things tucked into the new drawers. Joy! What will you choose to put on top of the chest of drawers?

I know your new LL and neighbors will enjoy the beauty of the potted plants that will grace your patio and doorways.

Wishing you a good night's sleep, a wonderful day tomorrow, lots of energy, and perhaps a take-away or slow cooker dinner so you don't need to cook at the end of the day.

    Big hugs!

  2. Good luck tomorrow. Hope the sun shines and everything gets removed in one piece. Will look forward to seeing the inside of your new home once you have everything in it's place, and a place for everything. Take good care.

  6. Very best wishes for tomorrow, I am excited for you. Lovely to have new beginnings.
I am absolutely sure that you have done the right thing and that you will enjoy your new home. Nice to have no stairs, ( I live in a single storey home and it is great ).
The new LL sounds so much more caring than the last one, life will be good.
Like other readers I am nosey too and look forward to seeing your completed move pics. Perhaps we could all come for a virtual cup of coffee to wish you and DB well.
    Love Pam in TX.xx
